Frequently Asked Questions

Is OLED worth it for gaming?

OLED monitors offer true per-pixel dimming, infinite contrast ratios, and near-instant response times (typically under 0.03ms). For gaming, this means perfect blacks, no backlight bleed, and extremely smooth motion clarity. The visual difference from LCD panels is immediately noticeable.

Do OLED gaming monitors get burn-in?

Burn-in is possible but significantly less likely with modern OLED gaming monitors. Manufacturers include pixel-shift technology, automatic brightness limiters, and panel refresh cycles to prevent it. With normal gaming use and mixed content, burn-in is not a practical concern for most users.

Is OLED or IPS better for competitive FPS?

For pure competitive FPS, both are viable. OLED has faster pixel response times and better motion clarity, but top IPS panels at 360Hz+ offer higher refresh rates at lower prices. If you play in a dark room, OLED is superior. For bright rooms, high-brightness IPS panels may be easier to see.
